In many cases, the propagation of cosmic rays in space magnetized plasma can be described as diffusion. The process of relativistic particle scattering by random magnetic fields is discussed and the diffusion tensor of cosmic rays is derived. Particular attention is given to the so called anomalous diffusion of strongly magnetized particles across the average magnetic field. It is shown how the diffusion-convection transport equation describes the propagation of cosmic rays in the heliosphere, the interstellar medium, and the intergalactic space.
