ANNUAL STUDENT REPORT FOR FELLOWSHIPS

One of the conditions for awarding a LaSPACE Fellowship is that each student must complete a year-end report on his/her activities for the year. For those not yet graduating, this also becomes your application for another year of support under the program. For those graduating, this is doubly important as it represents the final report on your Fellowship.

The year-end report format is available here. Note that it requires a section to be completed by your research advisor (department chairman if no research advisor) and by your campus coordinator. Click here for a list of campus coordinators.

Please don't leave the report preparation to the last minute. Complete it before people start traveling during the summer. We must have these reports back in the LaSPACE office by June 1 so that subcontracts can be ammended to provide additional funding for those students who will continue for another year.

Your attention should be drawn to the requirement that all publications, presentations, etc. that emanate from the work supported by this subcontract shall cite the support of the Louisiana Board of Regents through the Board of Regents Support Fund (BoRSF) and the support of NASA under grant NNG05GH22H. The appropriate NASA and Board of Regents contract numbers shall also be cited unless the journal or book expressly forbids such citation.

Such citation might take the form, '__________________ thanks the Louisiana Board of Regents, BoRSF, under agreement NASA/LEQSF(2005-2010)-LaSPACE and NASA/LaSPACE under grant NNG05GH22H for support during this project.'

Plese call the office if you need help determining your contract support. Please also include a bibliographic list of all papers, talks, submissions, etc. as part of your year-end report, and attach copies of whatever is available. If you are graduating, please attach a copy of your dissertation/thesis title page, the abstract, and the acknowledgements showing the citation of LaSPACE support. Also, give forwarding contact information.
